Whether you are new to job hunting or have found yourself out of work due to redundancy and find the situation daunting we are here to help. We like to meet all our candidates face to face, discussing your situation and finding the right solution for you. This allows us to get to know you better. Whilst relevant experience, skills and qualifications are important it is often personality that will secure you that perfect position.
Finding a job is difficult especially if you are working full time, so making the best use of your time and finding the right agency to represent you is vital.
Find an agency that projects the right image for you:
• Do they look professional?
• How do they sound on the phone?
• Are they knowledgeable about the marketplace?
• Check that they deal with the type of work you are looking for?
Book an appointment with the agency before you go, this will ensure time is set-aside for you.
• Attend the initial agency meeting in business dress (this is still an interview after all).
• Update your CV and think about your aspirations before the interview.
An initial meeting with Bond Williams involves looking at your experience, assessing your skills, understanding your personality, as well as identifying your career aspirations. We will look at your CV and see if improvements can be made, and discuss current suitable vacancies with you and give you an insight into the companies. So be honest if it is not the role you are looking for, be open if you have been for interviews before, and be prepared to take constructive criticism, it is in our interest to find you the right job. There maybe a reason why it has taken you longer than you hoped or you are not getting the interviews you wanted. Once we have secured you an interview we will make sure you have all the relevant background information to give you the best chance of success!
Our partnership works best when there is good open communication, call us with feedback as soon as possible after your interview and let us know what you thought of the role and the company. We ask clients for interview feedback for your development and we like to give them feedback too. Clients can be disappointed if we have not received feedback and could take it as a sign you are not enthusiastic about the job or the company. There may also be questions resulting from the interview, we can help sort out the finer details so that both parties are happy!
We will keep you updated regarding progress and interviews, so if you need help don’t delay and call Bond Williams now for an informal chat!
